ABOUT FANO

Freedom for All Nations Outreach (FANO) is a Bible-based and five-fold ministry which began as an outreach ministry in Pretoria, South Africa, in 2003 by Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit in 2012, FANO became an established ministry demonstrating the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through godly character formation and radical display of signs and wonders.

THE BEGINNING – FROM A MAN TO AN OUTREACH

Just like the Israelites who went through rough and hard times in the wilderness before God gave them a settled home as part of His promises to Father Abraham, FANO had a humble and challenging beginning before arriving at her current status and height today.
Every ministry starts with a man prepared by God with firm guidelines, principles and instructions. God raised Moses to fulfil his promise to Father Abraham (Father of Faith). Likewise, He raised David to liberate the Israelites from their oppressors. In the case of FANO, God raised Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse, a man with a rugged faith in God and a hardcore ministry-mindedness to start the liberation of lost souls in South Africa. His entire life story and initial humbling experience in South Africa have become an inspiration that is now restoring people’s faith in God. His spiritual gifts of prophecy, healing and deliverance continue to revive many whose hopes have dimmed. Furthermore, Prophet Samuel’s in-depth knowledge and revelational teachings of the Bible continue to heal the soul and sharpen the mind.

THE JOURNEY OF A MINISTRY

Every mighty tree in the forest begins as a seed (grain) and goes through the process of growth surviving different climate conditions. In like-manner, FANO has gone through different phases and is still metamorphosing both spiritually and physically.
The ministry started as a prayer outreach and home cell fellowship in Joubert Street at Joubert Court flat, Pretoria, South Africa with just 3 members in 2003. Within a short time, the number multiplied through the move and power of God manifesting in testimonies of people who encounters with the grace upon the oracle of God (Prophet Samuel).

Still without a name, the Ministry moved from Joubert to a hair salon space and when the salon could no longer accommodate the increasing number, the group moved to Bloed Street. At Bloed Street, the space became too small within a short period. This resulted in another move to Struben Street where the group was compelled to make another move on (the pastor-in-charge’s) request to Du toit street. Again, in 2011, the group relocated from Du toit Street to the City Hall in Paul Kruger Street. The journey continued to Fredrick Street and later to Rebecca Street both in Pretoria West.

THE GIVEN (BIRTH) OF A NAME

For many years, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse led the Ministry without a name. However, in November 2010, after a long wait on the Lord through 40 days fast on water, God spoke to him at the Mountain of Faith, Magaliesburg, North-west, and gave him the name “FREEDOM FOR ALL NATIONS” “OUTREACH” was later added to the name, a reflection of his love and passion for outreaches. Hence, the birth of the name “FREEDOM FOR ALL NATIONS OUTREACH (FANO)” which was later registered in Pretoria, South Africa.
Freedom for All Nations Outreach (FANO) became a full-fledged Ministry and began operation as a Church in 2012 after the LORD instructed Prophet Samuel about starting a church.

THE JOURNEY TO MERCYLAND

Every mandate from God comes with an instruction which should be followed strictly. On several occasions in the scriptures, God highlighted on the subject of season and time especially in Ecclesiastes 3. It was no doubt that is the season for FANO to be fully established as a Church. The timing was perfect. For FANO, it was time to manifest.

With instruction from the Holy Spirit, the Church (FANO) started on the 8th of January 2012 with 68 members. However, more than 400 Worshippers left the ministry when Prophet Samuel harkened to God’s voice and declared the prayer outreach to be a church.
Freedom for All Nations Outreach started at Fredrick Street, Pretoria in 2012 but the hall in Fredrick Street became smaller for the ever-increasing congregants and FANO had to move from there to Rebecca Street. At this point, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse got tired of constant moving and prayed. The LORD showed him a land in Kirkney, Van Der Hoff Road, which is where FANO is situated presently. Miraculously, the land was purchased and a permanent place of worship was built for the LORD.

THE FUTURE OF FANO

Every great project, dream starts with a vision. Likewise, the current FANO worship facility is not yet at its final phase as envisioned from the beginning. We know that building does not define the church rather, it is the body of believers. However, the building is a special place to assemble and worship God together. Solomon in 2nd Chronicles chapter 5 & 6 demonstrated the importance of building a place of worship for the Israelites. It is the dream of the Ministry to build a larger auditorium of worship for the Lord that would accommodate larger congregants from all races and walks of life at MERCYLAND.
The auditorium is expected to be a 50,000 capacity audience/congregants with cutting edge facilities and ultra-modern church technology to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all nations. We are confident that FANO’s greatness project has a ripple effect that will also transform South Africa into a religious tourist hub for all nations of the world.
The estimated cost for the project is at 150 million Rands (R150, 000, 000) which is 10 million Dollars ($10,000,000) approximately.

To the glory of God today, FANO has over 20 branches spread across South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Nigeria, Namibia, Zambia, Ghana…

Indeed, our God is a covenant keeping God. Stay blessed as you connect to grace at the altar of mercy.
